At the conclusion of the election campaign in 2009, acquired the official results of local elections, I wish to formally thank you all for the support, trust and commitment in this "challenge", which while not seeing the winners, there has be reserved for the preference and consideration of 663 citizens well. This will result in the presence of Erna Antonutti and myself in the City Council.

Although trust and believe in my heart, from the beginning to the end of this experience, the possibility of a victory and then for an alternative, a shift and a change, I calmly state the different outcome resulted from the polls and the consequent desire expressed by the voters.

consider the results obtained from all of us still positive and I think that the work, sharing and processing of the program, relationships and human contacts established with many people, are a heritage not be lost but may constitute the solid basis on which engage the work we're going to play in the future, not only by white minority of the council, but also keeping all of us, that collaboration, the regular exchange of opinions, information and ideas needed to power one another regularly and to keep alive the "Attention and popular participation" attentive and alert to the vicissitudes of public and political administration of our municipality.

So maybe, in some, the disappointment at the failure to win or for non-election may have crept in to soften the possibility of seeing a direct impact on the management of the municipal administration, but invite you to see the so-called "half full glass ", meaning the trust placed in us by 663 persons, which we have believed and that we have entrusted their representation in municipal institutional forum. Not deludiamoli and remain consistent with what we wrote in our program and that, within the limits of what is possible implement the benches of the minority, we are committed to achieve.

Let us not grieve for what is now past, and what could be (this time) it was not but is already behind us, but we look forward to the future, to new goals, new horizons, new goals, what we can determine or at least influence with our work.
During the election campaign we reiterated that: "The future belongs to those who believe in their dreams", we said that: "For a new project that comes there is new hope that grows."
We continue to nourish this hope and dream in those who do not feed them, administrative management for a cheaper, more participatory, more transparent, able to charm and conquer other people.

The "Spirit of Service" that animates our work and we decided to play in various ways and with different intensity, our commitment to public or social interest, I hope that can continue to be our reference horizon.

In renewing all of you, close collaborators or people, my sincere thanks, I send a warm greeting and a goodbye to future tasks and events.
