GUIDED
thematic tours for adults and children, by Synthesis, associated with reservation, a hiking trip in the lagoon (maximum 35 people).
Guided tours, lasting one hour, will start from 20.00 and will be held on the following shifts: 20.00-21.00 / 21.00-22.00 / 22.00-23.00 / 23.00-24.00
The hike to the lagoon ' Torcello Island will start at 20.00 and at 22.00 from the canal near the Santa Maria Museum of Archaeology (approx. 2 hours) and to make a quick stop at the island of Torcello.
Sunday, May 16, 2010 "History of Glass"
trails and workshops for children between 6 and 11 years at the museum
of guided tours will take place followed by interactive mini-workshops titled "Stories of glass."
activities, inspired by the archaeologists of Studio D, will be targeted at children between 6 and 11 years and will have as theme the glass, its techniques, its history.
The workshops will take place with the following shifts: 14:00 to 15:00 / 15:00 to 16:00 / 16:00 to 17:00
From 14.00 to 16.00, the glass master Lino Tagliapietra will give a practical demonstration of glassmaking to the "manner of the Romans" thanks to a temporary structure set up in the archaeological area at the Museum.
same time there are guided tours for adults conducted by Synthesis.
