A quick guide 's tribute to the Romantic piano held Thursday, December 23 at the center services Quarto d'Altino. Very good
the four young interpreters ( Elisa Buso, Signoretto Alessandra, Valentina Pellico , Giulia Toniolo ) who took turns on stage, facing more or less well-known songs (and more or less simple ...) of the four composers who have made the piano instrument par excellence of the Romantic period : Chopin, Liszt, Schumann and Mendelssohn.
Although the weather was not the best (out of the incessant rain, inside the heating programmed to shut down too soon), as soon as the lights went out and started playing the piano, the atmosphere became very intimate, and the evening took a turn very "romantic" ... A new
we wanted to introduce than in years past - and from what I heard was much appreciated by the public - was element "didactic" and "theatrical" .
In fact, besides my own - hopefully not boring ... - Introduction to Romanticism as a cultural movement that, between the '20s and '60s of the nineteenth century, found their music the most fertile ground on which to develop every piece of the concert was accompanied by a video projection on the background of a musical note - written by Stephen Brentel - on track, or to its author, in turn accompanied by an image that somehow or to interpret its meaning.
Finally, Maurizio Santamaria actor friend (who had already had occasion to appreciate monologue in "I-Tigi - Stories for Ustica" , February 27 last year) has given voice to an enthusiastic review that Liszt made of a Chopin concert held in Paris in the spring of 1841.
short: another evening of music (and music ...) which we will respond with the same performers, the same "format", but with a different theme.
